NBC Universal LogosBravo Media, part of NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, continues to receive recognition for its high-quality, original content as the network earned three Primetime Emmy® Nominations from the Television Academy for the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.  Bravo’s Emmy Award-winning series “Top Chef” received its ninth consecutive nomination in the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program category. “Million Dollar Listing New York” earned its second consecutive Emmy nomination in the category of Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program. In addition, the Emmy Award-winning series “Inside the Actors Studio,” hosted by James Lipton, was nominated for its 18th Primetime Emmy, this year for Outstanding Informational Series or Special.

“To be recognized by the Television Academy for these shows which represent what Bravo does best with our unscripted programming is an honor,” said Frances Berwick, President, Lifestyle Networks, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.  “These nominations come on the heels of a strong second quarter with the network ranking as #9 in prime among P18-49 versus ad-supported cable entertainment networks and #8 among P25-54.”

Bravo’s “Top Chef” became the first and only series on cable to win in the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program category in 2010 and this year’s nomination extends Bravo’s record as the only cable network with nominations in this category for 11 consecutive years.

The Primetime Emmy Awards salute excellence in national primetime programming, presenting top honors annually at both the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and Engineering Emmy Awards ceremonies, as well as the Primetime Emmys telecast.
