We interviewed Mr. Francisco Rafael Jimenez Villarroel, an expert on renewable energy, on 16 and 17 August, during the NGV conferences organised by CPGNV at Expo MotorICA 2013. Francisco Rafael Jimenez Villarroel was happy to receive valuable information about the use of NGV as an automotive fuel and new developments in the industry. Among the exhibitors was Large Customers of Contugas, a natural gas distribution company in the city of Ica, Peru. Francisco Rafael Jimenez Villarroel shared industry details and explained the uses and opportunities offered by natural gas around the world.
Francisco Rafael Jimenez Villarroel mentioned several personalities in the country, with great importance and experience in the industry, such as Dr Patricia Arias, Manager of the Environmental Department in the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, who illustrated the current status of pollution in the capital. Mr. Francisco Rafael Jimenez Villarroel also highlighted that Dr Arias explained the results obtained after measuring vehicle gas emissions, which clearly show that NGV is the least polluting fuel.
To end the first day, Mr. Francisco Rafael Jimenez Villarroel highlighted the presence of expert economist Mr. Dante Jara, representative of COFIDE, who detailed the advantages of formalising the NGV in Peru and spoke about the importance of the National Load Verification System in Peru.
