Fan favorite WWE Superstar and noted philanthropist Titus O’Neil, known outside the ring as Thaddeus Bullard, has teamed up with the Tampa area nonprofit, Unsigned Preps, to help local high school students reach their potential.
Set to host organization’s Unsigned Preps Leadership Conference Presented by Fifth Third Bank, Bullard brings star power and positivity to the event designed to prepare local high school students to become effective leaders, communicators, teammates and well-rounded student athletes.
The Unsigned Preps Leadership Conference Presented by Fifth Third Bank, will take place April 24-26 at the Tampa Bay Baptist Conference Center in Tampa, Florida.
“We are super excited to have a super star like Titus O’Neil to host our first annual Leadership Conference Presented by Fifth Third Bank,” said Ricky Sailor, Unsigned Preps founder and executive director. “Having Titus interact, inspire and lead these young men will change their lives!”
Aside from his in-ring persona, Bullard, a University of Florida graduate, is active in a number of charitable endeavors. In addition to being active the Ad Council’s Fatherhood campaign, Bullard has also won the PUSH Coalition’s prestigious 2014 Humanitarian & Community Service Award, which recognizes his significant contributions to the sports industry and charitable efforts both locally and globally.
Influenced by his two sons, Thaddeus Jr. (T.J.) and Titus, Bullard is committed to giving back to the community through charity. He is also a valued member of the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse (NRFC) and strives to be a positive role model in his and other children’s lives.
“My Life has been nothing short of a blessing,” said Bullard. “And that only became the case when others from various backgrounds, races, and cultures took time to invest in me spiritually, physically and financially to help me become successful. I continuously try to repay those unselfish people that invested in me when they didn’t have to, by doing the same for others locally and globally in a non-discriminatory way.”
For three days and two nights, the conference will feature fellowship, team building activities, financial literacy workshops, and character development workshops that are all designed to leave students physically, spiritually and mentally enlightened.
Attendees will also enjoy multiple movie nights, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, canoes, kayaks and other exciting activities.
