NBC Sports GroupNBC Sports GroupNBCSN’s coverage of the 2013-14 college hockey season continues this weekend with an Ivy League matchup, when 2013 National Champion and No. 10 Yale faces Harvard at historic Madison Square Garden in New York City. Coverage of the inaugural Rivalry on Ice begins at 8 p.m. ET. In addition to the telecast on NBCSN, NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets – will live stream coverage of the Rivalry on Ice.

Saturday’s game is the second of three meetings this season between the two long-time rivals, following a 2-2 tie at Ingalls Rink in December. Yale is coming off its first national championship after finishing off the 2013 Frozen Four with a win over then-No. 1 ranked Quinnipiac. The Crimson enter Saturday’s action on the heels of a 7-4 win against Boston University on Jan. 4, followed by a 2-2 tie against No. 7 Quinnipiac.

Dave Strader will manage play-by-play duties for the game and will be joined by Emmy Award-winning ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire.

NBCSN will present more than 20 college hockey games this season including 13 Notre Dame games, five Hockey East games and five Big Ten games. NBC Sports Live Extra will live stream more than 30 college hockey games this season.

IVY LEAGUE BASKETBALL

In addition to NBCSN’s coverage of Harvard – Yale in the Rivalry on Ice, the network will also feature an Ivy League basketball matchup on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. ET between Princeton and Penn. Former NBA head coach and NBCSN analyst Stan Van Gundy will pair with play-by-play announcer Steve Schlanger to call the action from at the historic Palestra in Philadelphia, Pa

NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets, will live stream the Princeton-Penn basketball game, and the Rivalry on Ice between Harvard and Yale.
