A client of national PR firm The Publicity Agency is receiving national attention for her latest humanitarian efforts. Wrigley heiress Helen A. Rosburg recently chartered a private jet to keep a military family with their two dogs adopted during the husband’s tour of duty overseas.
In the story that aired in various cities from Greenville, N.C. to Los Angeles on ABC affiliates such as WCTI, WWAY, KABC, KLTV and WVEX, readers met Andrew Morales, a Marine who was being transferred from his base in California to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Morales called commercial airlines to set up travel for his two Anatolian Shepherds, whom he adopted during his tour in Afghanistan, but quickly learned that the dogs would not be allowed on the flights due to their size.

Rosburg told reporters that she heard of Morales’s story through one of her many friends on Facebook.
“It came to my attention and I said, a national airline might not take you, but Helen will,” the Wrigley heiress said.
The story was first covered by WWAY and WCTI, ABC affiliates in North Carolina. From there the story became an uplifting national piece, reaching a national audience on the websites for ABC News and Good Morning America.
