Lalchandani Simon, a Miami-based technology law firm, facilitated a $275,000 seed funding for Haku Sports, a state-of-the-art platform that facilitates the organization of endurance events. The Miami-based Haku allows race organizers to sign up participants, continuously engage them through social media, and boost registrations through marketing campaigns and tracking tools. The funds from the raise will be used to engage additional developers to add new features that leverage social media and to launch a nationwide marketing campaign. Haku is founded by brothers Carlos and Jose Escobar.
