Former U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.), honorary co-chair for the Bipartisan Coalition for American Security (BCAS), will be a guest on the CNN programs ‘Piers Morgan Live’ tonight and tomorrow on the new ‘Crossfire.’
Perhaps best known as the Democratic candidate for Vice President in 2000, Senator Joe Lieberman has established himself as a national leader—one who works across party lines to find common ground; a person who speaks his conscience and who gets things done for the good of all people in America.
Founded earlier this year, BCAS (www.bcasnews.com), the Bipartisan Coalition for American Security, is dedicated to the proposition that the prosperity, freedom and security of Americans at home depends upon the exercise of strong and principled American leadership abroad.
Last week, BCAS announced that retired four-star Army Gen. Jack Keane was named Vice-Chair of the new group, which is also led by Senator Scott Brown (R-MA).
PIERS MORGAN LIVE is hosted by Piers Morgan and airs weeknights at 9pm and 12am ET on CNN.
CROSSFIRE, the 30-minute topical debate program, airs Mondays through Fridays at 6:30pm ET, with encores at 2:00am ET on CNN/U.S. CROSSFIRE will also air each weeknight on CNN International at 11:30pm.
About BCAS: A nonprofit 501(c)(4), the mission of the Bipartisan Coalition for American Security is to defend and protect America by supporting America’s broad engagement in the world, democracy and human rights as fundamental tenets of our foreign policy, strong alliances around the globe, and a robust foreign policy and strong national defense.
