About the Author: Dr. Andy Rose was a public educator for more than four decades. He earned a doctorate from Columbia University. Beginning as a teacher in New York City for 13 years, he moved to a principalship in 1980. Four years later, he was promoted to the position of chief school administrator of The Norwood Public School District in Bergen County, New Jersey. He led the district for 25 more years. Now retired, he devotes his time to writing fiction that honors schoolteachers as heroes. His thrilling work stands in contrast to his straight and narrow demeanor as an educational leader.
