"The Siege of Khe Sanh 1967-68" by David Peter Ehrlich

“The Siege of Khe Sanh 1967-68” (ISBN 0646323024), written by David Peter Ehrlich, is an accurate retelling of the 77-day siege of the Battle of Khe Sanh. This historic battle involved three of the four United States armed forces: the Marines, Army and Air Force.

The Battle of Khe Sanh was the most publicized battle of the 12 years that the United States was involved in the Vietnam War. While “The Siege of Khe Sanh 1967-68” is inspired by the real-life events of the war in the late 1960s, Ehrlich brings it to life again with a more fictional storyline. Loaded with high drama and action, the novel introduces readers to a handful of fictional characters living during this historic war.

“I was inspired to write ‘The Siege of Khe Sanh 1967-68’ because of my service in the Royal Australian Navy as a lieutenant,” says Ehrlich. “I spent two years researching information for this book. I am fascinated by military history and the laws of war.”

According to Ehrlich, “The Siege of Khe Sanh 1967-68” will interest war veterans in the United States and Vietnam who may have experienced some of the events discussed firsthand. He believes military history enthusiasts will find the novel particularly captivating as well.

Ehrlich believes “The Siege of Khe Sanh 1967-68” is the only historically accurate military history dramatization of this historic battle that is available for readers.

“The Siege of Khe Sanh 1967-68” is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
