RNC announces opening of 23 victory offices in Florida

(PR NewsChannel) / June 6, 2012 / WASHINGTON

Republican National CommitteeThe Republican National Committee (RNC) today announced the official opening of 23 Victory Field Offices in Florida. These offices will coordinate the get out the vote operations for Governor Mitt Romney leading up to the November election. The RNC will work hand-in-hand with the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) and Mitt Romney for President at each of these 23 offices to ensure that Gov. Romney defeats President Barack Obama in November and all Republicans on the ticket are successful on Election Day.

This is the first round of offices the RNC will open in Florida and demonstrates the fast pace at which the Republican Party continues to cement a path to victory for Gov. Romney in Florida.

A recent Quinnipiac poll of Floridians shows an almost 20 percent voter enthusiasm advantage for Republicans in the Sunshine State compared to Democrats. The RNC’s Victory Offices will build on that enthusiasm up to Election Day by mobilizing volunteers to knock on doors, make phone calls, register voters, and educate Floridians about the important choice they face in November.

“President Obama failed to deliver hope and change to Florida,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Today, voters are ready for new direction, and Republicans and Gov. Romney are offering exactly that. While President Obama runs from his record and attempts to divide the electorate, Republicans are running on the issues that matter: jobs and the economy. Our Victory Offices will allow us to take that message to voters all across the state.”

“Floridians are tired of President Obama’s hostility towards job creators and ready for new leadership in the White House,” said RNC Co-Chair Sharon Day. “Republicans across Florida are united in our efforts to defeat President Obama and elect Gov. Mitt Romney as our next president.”

“Florida Republicans are ready for the historic election ahead of us,” said RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry. “The stakes are high, and there is plenty of work to be done, but with the RNC, RPOF, and the Romney Campaign partnering together, we will be victorious in November. I look forward to working alongside all the volunteers who will be at our Victory Offices as we fight for a more prosperous future for our state and country.”
