Tampa will welcome the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) this week for its annual conference, taking place March 8-10 at the Tampa Convention Center. Approximately 4,000 delegates will gather in downtown Tampa for the convention, producing over 5,300 hotel room nights and $4.6 million in delegate spending.
As NASSP is the only association serving principals, assistant principals, and aspiring school leaders at both the middle- and high-school level, this conference provides a unique forum for colleague-to-colleague exchange. Additionally, the conference is designed to meet the challenges of school management and improving student performance.
During this event, the general and concurrent sessions will provide school leaders with the opportunity to learn from renowned speakers, discover how diverse groups of schools are achieving success, connect with educators who are facing similar challenges, develop a specific work plan with help from facilitators, and much more. For more information, visit www.nasspconference.org.
The focus of the Convention Sales team of Tampa Bay & Company is to bring conventions and meetings to Tampa Bay to create positive economic impact for Hillsborough County.
