Daniel D’Auria not only teaches young readers about the true coloring of polar bears in his children’s book, “Polar Bears Aren’t White, You Know!” (ISBN 0984985018), he also brings attention to the plight of these unique, endangered creatures and other animals as a result of global climate change. Through the use of his own striking wildlife photography, D’Auria reveals a world little-seen by most, and one which he shows is fading fast.

Using easy-to-follow rhymes, the author takes readers on an in-depth journey into the lives of the animals in Manitoba, Canada. D’Auria’s hobby of wildlife photography shines beautifully through his book as he also subtly educates children on a more important topic: global climate change. About the Author: Dr. Daniel D’Auria is a practicing physician. He graduated from Rutgers Medical School and is the founding member of Digestive Health Physicians, PA.
