Orohunter 5th Pentacle of the Sun

“Orohunter 5th Pentacle of the Sun” (ISBN 1463627440) by Christopher Andrew Burton fills the void for readers who miss the Harry Potter and Eragon series. Burton conveys the magic in music and the power of believing strongly to readers to fully demonstrate how it can affect their lives for the better.

Garrett Montgomery is an Orohunter, the magical community’s CIA. Garrett was attacked by evil sorcerers, but they were unable to kill him. Garrett’s enemies had magically transformed him and left him, without the memory of his magical ability. Garrett’s partner Carrie spends three years looking for him before she finds him in Michigan, only to discover that he is Carl Alexander. The struggle to convince someone that they are someone else proves to be a lesson and a burden within itself.

The power of magic, belief and music might make readers believe that Burton’s novel is fantasy, but he says it’s far from it.

“People will automatically think of this as a fantasy, but at the heart of the story is a mystery and a love story,” Burton says. “My goal is to write a book that takes place in each state of the United States while incorporating some history or folklore of the Native Americans. I enjoy teaching people about historical events in the use of fiction.”

Certain events that happen in Burton’s novel have actually happened to him or were inspired by situations throughout his life. The author tries to make the events that occur in his book seem as realistic as possible, especially after basing the characters on some of his friends. He explains how magic can occur from things he has experienced and seen on television, and hopes his readers will understand.

“Orohunter 5th Pentacle of the Sun” is available for sale online at Amazon.com, Orohunter.info and other channels. A portion of each sale is donated to the Jimmy V foundation.
