Already the go-to guy for news media outlets when they want a comment on crisis management public relations situations making news, today Glenn Selig (Twitter: @GlennSelig), founder of the PR firm The Publicity Agency, announced a new PR blog.

“The PR Blog” provides insights and observations on crisis management PR facing entertainers, businesses and individuals. Selig is The Publicity Agency’s “strategist-in-chief.”

The PR Blog also focuses on other issues from the world of public relations.

The most recent post titled “Doubtful Hollywood will forgive Mel Gibson, despite plea from Robert Downey, Jr.” talks about Downey’s appeal to colleagues to forgive Gibson. Selig has also blogged about Hank Williams Jr.’s television disaster comparing President Obama to Hitler, comedian Rosie O’Donnell’s new show and the effect controversy can have on PR.
