Ark Music Factory has launched TGI Friday Covers, a series of homages—professional, home-grown and user-submitted—to Ark’s runaway hit FRIDAY.

Each Friday, Ark Music Factory’s TGI Fridays feature either a hit or professionally recorded version of the song alongside two user-submitted cover versions chosen by Ark management.  Users are invited to submit ANY cover of the song—homage, re-work or parody—at to win a shot at being broadcast on the site.

On the very first Friday of the promotion, June 10, Ark Music Factory honored the launch of The Glee Project talent search show, which aired on the Oxygen cable network June 12 (  Ark featured the Glee cast cover of Friday. The Glee cast performed the song on the second to last episode, which aired Tuesday May 10 on The Fox Broadcasting Company.

THIS Friday—June 17—the series continues with the video of Poreotics’ performance on America’s Best Dance Crew’s season 6 finale, broadcast on MTV June 5; watch the video here:

On subsequent Fridays, as user-submitted entries come in, Ark will pick two of them each week to accompany the professional covers.  Upcoming Fridays feature Katy Perry’s cover of Friday, as well as an official remix of the song, which Chelsea Kane and Romeo performed on Dancing with the Stars in May:
