Reasonable estimates for temp. increase about about 3 C at the high end of this century, i.e., 90 years from now, which wouldn’t be good but it’s hardly the end of the world. Same with rising sea levels: reasonable prediction suggest a rise by the end of the century that will be more than manageable.

More to the point, if you’re really worried about the end of the world, it can easily happen, and not in 90 years but in less than 90 minutes. In 30 minutes in fact.

20 years after the fall of the U.S.S.R. and the end of the cold war, 1000s of multi-megaton thermonuclear weapons remain on high alert. Today, there’s over 6000 on high alert, and most of these weapons are at least 1-2 megton, many are in the 5-10 megaton range (designed to obliterate large cities, e.g., NYC, Chicago, etc., and kill 10 million people in quarter of a second).

Basically, this will be a man made ice-age, and it would only take a few hours to create it, killing 100s of millions in the process and ending both civilization and history w/in the same time frame. Oh, radioactive fallout would blanket much of the planet.

Steven Starr, senior scientist with Physicians for Social Responsibility, said research makes clear the environmental consequences of a U.S.-Russian nuclear war: “If these weapons are detonated in the large cities of either of their nations, they will cause such catastrophic damage to the global environment that the Earth will become virtually uninhabitable for most humans and many other complex forms of life.” And it would only take 24 hours to create these conditions.

Climate change has nothing on accidental or deliberate nuclear war.

Why haven’t we had an accidental exchange? We’ve been lucky, many times, but if you keep doing something dangerous, sooner or later, your luck runs out. We need to de-alert these massive weapon systems now. We need serious disarmament now. Those of us old enough to remember the cold war days . . . climate change is a problem but hardly the end of the world . . .

A supervisor watched pornographic videos in his office during work hours while “satisfying himself.”

And an employee in a “leadership position” misused a government database to check on two friends who were exotic dancers and allowed them into an FBI office after hours.

These are among confidential summaries of FBI disciplinary reports obtained by CNN, which describe misconduct by agency supervisors, agents and other employees over the last three years.

My boys are growing up with religions values, diversity and love in our home. Prejudice people can pick apart LGBT people and our family as much as they want, but they will never know how wonderful many Gay people are because they “choose” not to give us a chance. The focus on the sex part and not the humanity. My being Gay is not a lifestyle… I choose to have a committed relationship and a family, thats a lifestyle. I choose to be involved in music and singing, thats a lifestyle. I choose to live in New Jersey, thats a “real” Lifestyle LOL… It would have been an abomination to be someone I wasn’t. I could have chosen to live a lie with a woman. So what people are telling me, it would have been okay to lie?? I thought Lying was a Sin as well..

I have read the bible… from cover to cover more than once…. How about this one… Old testament says not to eat the meat of cloven hoofed animals it is an “abomination” Nor to eat meat after the 3rd day… was also an abomination… and one would surely perish… Yet today we eat pork, lamb & deer… and meat as much as a year old…and we do not perish… At the time that order was given there was NO refrigeration… trichinosis and food poisoning was a serious threat to the tiny growing population… God’s first order was to go forth & multiply… (both to Adam “Fill the earth” and to Noah he added “replenish the earth”) Humanity was in danger of extinction… So we invented refrigerators and the art of cooking & it’s now ok to eat the meat of a cloven hoofed animal & meat can keep in a freezer well over a year. . So Now my question is… back to “Go forth & multiply” … old testament also says not to spill your seed on the ground (masterbation) or to lie with same sex… man shall not lie with man as with a woman nor woman with woman… it is an abomination… there’s that word again… abomination….Masteration & Homosexuality are not conducive to the command “Go forth and multiply and fill the earth” However… Today… don’t you think the earth is full enough now??? So Don’t you think that rule no longer holds up either? My favorite line is… “Who do you think your God will Judge… you for hating or gays for loving…??” Just a thought…. This is all assuming you believe the bible to be the complete and only word of God… unaltered by the Nicene Council excluding all other texts from that time such as the Dead Sea Scrolls or older texts such as the History of Sumerian Texts… which is eerily similar to the Genesis Story… only written eons before…

Some have stayed quiet about this terrible affliction, as California, Nevada and New Mexico. But avid analysts only have to glance at the elevated state deficits, to see the illegal immigration cash dilemma. Notably the Democrats, Liberal and ultra Republican elites will not tell the truth about the costs, as they have been corrupted by the proverbial injections of Campaign contributions. It seems like President Obama had enforced immigration laws to some extent, but even that push is waning? It started off well with near zero tolerance for anybody found to be in this nation illegally, but of late the man has instituted new measures upon the courts and ICE, to only deport incorrigible criminals; others with minimal police records have been allowed to walk.

The worst offender of this administrations payroll is the Liberal Socialist US, Attorney General Eric Holder, who has a questionable agenda in the Department of Justice. He has been brought before Congress on numerous occasions, including the ‘Fast and Furious’ controversy over weapons getting into the hands of drug cartels in Mexico. As yet this terrible issue has not been successfully resolved and ended with the death of a Border Patrol agent? The DOJ have been merciless in suing states trying to save the few recession dollars they have, for US citizens and legal residents.

North Carolina could be next as more sovereign states see the disaster indefinitely forthcoming from law Courts, forcibly demanding that taxpayers must supplement the income of illegal aliens, when the states cannot even feed, clothe and house their own low income residents? Illegal immigration is completely out of hand, with an estimated 8 million still favored by companies who have hired them, although American workers should be filling these jobs. States like California, Nevada, Colorado and New York, is just the inevitable tip of the iceberg whose principles cities as Los Angles, Denver, Las Vegas who’s Governor, Mayors and elected officials have deliberately ignored immigration enforcement and their counties designated as Sanctuary States or cities, permitting the true populace to unjustly pay for the illegal occupiers.

Prior administrations have allowed this to happen, putting no severe emphasis on removal. After all its big profits from republican donors and the boon of more votes for the Liberal progressives and Democrats, is not looked upon with disdain by the politicians. Most of them are ruefully disconnected from most Americans, and have been unconcerned with the projected number of 500.000 a year who arrive here by plane or who ignore the gross limitations of the border fence. Then another 1,000.000 that seems to be growing rate for incoming legal immigrants, who come via business approvals. I am not saying we don’t desire more highly skilled occupations, so we can compete with the global market. But companies should not be given visas for the less skilled, when job opportunities should be filled by occupational students and highly prized accomplished persons from other countries. But we must draw the line on the destitute who thinks America owes them a better quality of life. They should be arrested in any street demonstrations when demanding the same rights as citizens. It’s unfortunate that ICE is not allowed to perform its job properly on the hazardous border or in the confines of our country, to apprehend and take suspicious people into custody.

We have a good chance to resolve the inaction of multiple administrations, by applying the ‘Legal Workforce Act’ or as established as mandatory E-Verify program. This current bill, H.R. 2885 can right some massive wrongs and impose ‘Attrition through Enforcement’ guaranteeing that illegal aliens will self deport taking their families with them. You can expedite this method by stringently complaining to the Federal and State offices of Senators and the Congressional House phone switchboard at 202-224-3121.

Do not let them knowingly hold back this law as it will help relieve some of the 22 million unemployed American job seekers. This is a simple, less aggressive and relatively free from taxpayer’s expense, as nationwide employers will no longer be able to skirt this law. There will be no mitigating circumstance as many will see the inside of federal prison cell. Not only has 73 Republicans; mostly fresh Tea Party politicians, but also 3 Democrats have also co-sponsored this imperative bill as to date. Another bill sponsored by Steve King’s (R-IA) Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011 (H.R.140) would amend the law so the unborn babies of illegal aliens smuggled calculatedly through borders or by international flight are ineligible for citizenship. The cost to hospitals and an array of welfare payments and entitlements is the most costly for US taxpayers totaling billions of more dollars. This is another demand, you should make of the politicians who represent your state.

The outlay to supply welfare is prohibitive and will only rise in future years. The Tea Party is already trying to fight off the spending carnival of the Obama government and another $1.3 Trillion dollars are already in the works. We are delusional if we think either party, other than the entrenched Tea Party members are going to put on the fiscal brakes. Former Speaker Newt Gingrich as already stated he would offer millions of illegal immigrants, that if they have been residing here 25 years or more a non-citizenship status. This is wrong, as millions in other lands still contemplate a visa, after waiting patiently in line. Then what about the contemptible family reunification program, which ended once again, costing taxpayers billions of dollars after the 1986 mass amnesty. New immigrants can sponsor family members financially, then renege leaving the taxpayers once again to pick up the tab on retirement and pensions. America no longer can afford the laws enacted, such as Gingrich softened agenda. The man would never uttered this plan, if he was in the true leadership of the TEA PARTY?

There is no more money, we are broke. Another amnesty as a projected analysis of the Heritage Foundation, the substantiated by NumbersUSA, American Patrol, FAIR and Judicial watch eventually would cost 2.6 Trillion dollars as of today? The Legislators are completely disconnected from the ordinary Americans trying to survive. To me, who moved away from California after being threatened for my free speech opinion about the overwhelming presence of illegal aliens? Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal county, AZ Arizona and also running for Congress, expressed today that we have 24.000 soldiers safeguarding the border between North and South Korea and yet the politicians in Washington are absent of a brain cell, when it comes to placing troops to stop the illegal invaders or the drug cells that are gaining ground inside our sovereign land. These Thursday Federal immigration officials announced the creation of a telephone hotline to make certain that detainees held by the local police are informed of their rights. These high officials I am sure influenced By Sen. Harry Reid, Minority Speaker Pelosi and other legislators in Homeland Security and ICE seem far more concerned with civil right for criminals; in millions of Americans eyes, anybody who enters America without permission—is a CRIMINAL AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS ONE AND PROSECUTED AS A FELONY?

It’s extraordinarily how citizens and lawful residents have been continuously skewered, for the benefit big business, pro-illegal alien fundamental organizations, unions, the Church and an assortment of groups of open border radicalism. Already these groups are conspiring to compromise the presidential race. Using any method they have at their disposal including—out of sight—non citizens voting and the highest density of irregularities with absentee ballots that are the simplest of application forms to forge. Democrats have been the worst offenders and have never been punished to the fullest extent of the law. The example is the ACORN groups that were not passive in allowing non-citizen voting, felons, the deceased and anybody who could make their mark. The 2012 presidential race will be a deciding factor, if Washington stays a tax and spend administration under Obama, or if we can publicize to the world that the left over Republicans led by a TEA PARTY revolutionaries as Michele Bachmann can contain the Democratic expenditures.

That said, I would like to thank Damo for his testimony. My story is very similar in that I was well into my twenties before I embraced my sexuality and came out to my family. Even after I began to agree that homosexuality was not a sin, it was difficult for me to admit my sexuality. Scholars like Mr. Wood brave enough to post on the web were a big help when I finally faced the issue for myself. And let me tell those of you who think homosexuality is enslavement to a lie, I have not been happier (gay, get it?) than when I finally accepted my whole self. I was set free by embracing this truth. This acceptance only came after much prayer. Many times I conversed with God to help me understand and to lead me down the right path. I know that God has done so. And I know that the true ‘enslavement to a lie’ is the use of the Bible to demean, belittle, hate and oppress others.

As the videos document, there is an all important caveat. Paul wrote that only those who love their neighbors as themselves go to heaven. This is the critical distinction.

Yes, Paul believed this so much that he refused to label idolatrous, homosexual orgies as sin worthy of spiritual death. After all, if he did label this as mortal sin then he would be contradicting his very own teaching that Leviticus 19:18 is the entire Law. (Romans 13:8-9, Galatians 5:14, 6:2)

The New Testament is an incredible read in the original Greek. It refuses to label idolatrous, homosexual orgies as mortal sin; while it says that Christians who don’t treat others kindly will be severed from Jesus and cast aside. (Romans 11:21-22)

On the surface, this can appear ridiculous. Yet even the most cursory thought reveals Paul’s reasoning. If Leviticus 19:18 is the entire Law, then both of these must be true. And that’s why Paul wrote what he did. Everything Paul wrote in his letters was based upon one fundamental premise:

For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Galatians 5:14

Thanks so much for this work. I see the folks who continue to claim to follow Jesus while ignoring his commandment to “judge not” and who fall into the things their god hates will not be moved, but these are the same people who likely think that if King James English was good enough for Jesus it’s good enough for them.

One thing–the word in Leviticus, I’m told by my rabbinical friends, is not “abomination,” it’s “Toevah” which translates more closely to “things the gentiles do that we do not.” And of course those who use Leviticus to target same-sex anything cherry pick anyway.

None of this, however, should make any difference as to laws, as we (supposedly) in the US live in a SECULAR government, and it’s real simple. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.” It’s time that the Christians quit trying to make their beliefs codified in law, whichever beliefs they have. GLBT people deserve to have equal civil rights. Period.

This is ammunition, though. But unfortunately, as you see, lots of fools who claim to follow Jesus while ignoring HIS commandments will ignore it utterly.
