Tampa Dermatologist Appears on Local CBS Morning Show to Talk About Sammy Sosa's Skin

Dr. Seth Forman says the retired baseball player has done something to change the color of his skin during an interview on 10 Connects This Morning (WTSP).

(PRNewsChannel) / November 11, 2009 / Tampa, Fla. / Tampa dermatologist Dr. Seth Forman appeared on 10 Connects This Morning, a newscast on the local CBS affiliate WTSP, to discuss Sammy Sosa’s changing skin color. Dr. Forman says the retired slugger has done something to alter his skin.

“He either had a massive bleaching with a topical agent or serious laser treatment,” says the Tampa dermatologist. “He has definitely changed the color of his skin.”

Dr. Forman says those type of procedures are common, but does not recommend them for everyone.

“I do not offer this type of treatment at my office,” says Dr. Forman. “It drastically changes skin pigmentation and is irreversible.”
