WHAT: The Center for the Digital Globe (CDiG), the Alfred Friendly Foundation and the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute (RJI), will bring together international industry leaders to explore the future of news and media.

The two-day event will stimulate provocative conversation about what the future may hold for consumers, reporters and publishers and will create new business models for the media industry.

“We have put together a unique blend of journalists, entrepreneurs and futurists to help give us a better idea of how to navigate a future course through what seems to be chaos in the media industry,” said Randy Smith, Donald W. Reynolds Chair of Business Journalism. “We hope this symposium will give us new directions, insights and business models for journalism.”
