Decision 'O8 Presidential Debates: CNN to Replay ABC News / Facebook / WMUR Debate

With both the Democrat and Republican presidential races in dead heats, CNN calls it a really 'unique opportunity.'
PRNewsChannel.com - January 06, 2008

(PRNewsChannel) / Tampa, Fla. - CNN announced today that it will replay the ABC News/Facebook/WMUR debates with the Democratic and Republican presidential candidates held last night in New Hampshire.

The all-news cable network will re-broadcast the debate at 7pm ET tonight.

"It's a really unique opportunity," said Betty Nguyen on CNN this morning.  "Don't miss it."

Over at competing Fox News, a forum involving the GOP's top contenders airs live at 8pm ET.

The Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released Sunday shows Democrat Barack Obama pulling into a virtual dead heat with Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire just two days before the state's presidential primary.

Clinton, the New York senator and former first lady, led Obama 31 percent to 30 percent.  Former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards had 20 percent.

Before the Iowa caucuses, Clinton led Obama by six points.

On the Republican side, Mitt Romney and John McCain are virtually tied in the poll.  Romney, the former Massachusetts governor who lost in Iowa to Mike Huckabee, moved ahead of McCain by one point, 32 percent to 31 percent.

Huckabee, a Baptist minister and former Arkansas governor, was in third with 12 percent.
