New Hampshire Doctors Group Challenges Presidential Candidates on Universal Health Care

With the nation focused on the New Hampshire primaries, the group of doctors urges candidates to help doctors facilitate the best care.

(PRNewsChannel) / Salem, N.H. - The dental/medical group IADMD.org is calling on the presidential candidates to consider its doctor-observed, patient-focused plan for health care reform that costs no extra money, puts doctors back in charge of health care and provides doctors the latest technology to provide the best care possible.

Though surveys show discontent with insurance companies among patients, physicians and dentists, IADMD.org says the candidates offer no real, viable health care solutions.

"The presidential candidates either have plans that cost billions of dollars or don't have a plan at all," says Dr. John J. Ryan, DMD, founder of IADMD, the International Assoc. of Dental and Medical Disciplines and a New Hampshire-based family dentist.

"Health care is such an important issue the candidates should be listening to the IADMD doctors that have the medical training to solve the crisis.  I commend Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama for talking about health care.  But their plans are not viable for many reasons, such as cost and their non-doctor approach," says Dr. Ryan.

The Massachusetts universal health care plan, which took effect last month and is widely viewed as a blueprint for national health care plan, is already mired in problems.

The state’s insurance companies have already raised their rates, lowered payments to medical professionals and the program is already facing a deficit of nearly $300-million.

The IADMD.org plan also focuses on health care for every citizen.  Dr. Ryan sees the devastating affect on taxpayers, employers, policyholders, doctors as well as the patients.

Dr. Ryan fears that this same type of non-doctor universal health care plan nationwide would be harmful to all. He encourages the candidates and all citizens to “beware” and encourages them to steer clear of working with the claim-discrediting powerful insurance interests and instead bring back the patient-focused decision-makers who can best heal the nation: the doctors.

About IADMD:  IADMD’s mission is to breathe new life into the healthcare field; to inspire individuals to stretch their thinking beyond existing dental and medical parameters; to draw on the professionalism and creativity of specialists throughout the world; and to promote worldwide healing with a doctor-to-doctor, non-socialized plan, that does not add taxation or burdens on employers, while securing every person’s right to the highest quality of whole-body health.
