Zinober, a former prosecutor, reacted to the recapture of convicted Tampa rapist Joseph Frye, who was released last month following a 24-year prison term. Tampa police say Frye confessed to another rape after his arrest at the Mayflower Motel on Florida Avenue just a month after his release from prison on similar charges.
“I think people can feel really good about the job the police department did in this case,” says Zinober. “They caught this guy quickly, and I don’t think he’s ever going to get out again.”
