Childhelp Capitol CAREaoke Event to Raise Money for Abused and Neglected Children

Scottsdale, Ariz. / With the current popularity of singing reality shows, it’s no wonder why the annual Childhelp Capitol CAREaoke is a hit every year. Where else can you get elected officials and media personalities on stage singing their favorite tunes for a good cause?
Childhelp’s annual Capitol CAREaoke event will be held on Wed., June 3 and will bring together Washington’s elite for an evening of karaoke singing. This year’s event is emceed by ABC 7 News’ Rebecca Cooper and dinner is presented by Wolfgang Puck. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the Newseum, 555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW.
Childhelp Celebrity Ambassador Megyn Kelly, co-host of America’s Newsroom on the Fox News Channel, will be in attendance and confirmed guests include Rep. John Shadegg and Rep. Patrick Kennedy. Media personalities who will be belting out ballads include Brett Baier and Major Garrett of Fox News; Andrea Mitchell of MSNBC; John King and Dana Bash of CNN and Mike Allen from Politico amongst many others.
All proceeds will benefit Childhelp programs in the Washington, DC area. Sponsors include Isagenix, Hahn & Hessen LLP, and CRG Partners. Individual tickets are $500.
