Tampa, Fla.The free online magazine for fathers, InteractiveDad.com, is conducting an online survey from Oct. 11, 2007-Oct. 15, 2007 to examine the issue of doctor office Web sites and whether families would benefit from more dentists and physicians offices having them.

"It appears like most doctors’ offices lack Web sites," says Glenn Lawrence, editor of InteractiveDad.com.  "We want to see what families think about that and whether doctor Web sites would benefit them."

U.S. families are invited to take the brief, anonymous online poll by visiting http://www.interactivedadmagazine.com/webpoll.html.

Though doctors use the latest technologies to diagnose and to treat patients, the medical profession as a whole lags behind other professions when it comes to having a Web site.

Last week, the new doctor-led health care association, the Int'l Assoc. of Dental and Medical Disciplines (IADMD), announced it was giving doctors Web sites as a membership perk to help doctors get wired.
