Exceptional Psychologist Joseph Conrad Stankus, PhD, will be Spotlighted in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Joseph Conrad Stankus, PhD, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Dr. Stankus is a highly trained and qualified psychologist with a vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially psychological evaluation, individual, couple, and family therapy, forensic psychology, clinical hypnosis, psychological screenings, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Stankus has been in practice for 38 years and is currently serving patients at Stankus Psychological Services PC in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Stankus acquired his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1969 from the College of the Holy Cross. He then received his Master of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 1972, followed by his PhD from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 1982. Furthermore, Dr. Stankus trained at The USAF Medical Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Dr. Stankus is on the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Family Support Network, and maintains professional memberships with the American Psychological Association, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the Society of Air Force Psychologists, and the Military Officers Association of America.

Holistic in orientation, Dr. Stankus employs a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote optimal health, including cognitive therapy, behavior-modification, and clinical hypnosis. Dr. Stankus attributes his success to his determination, perseverance, hard work, and the strong encouragement he received from his father. Because he has served as an active-duty clinical psychologist in the U.S. Air Force for 13 years, he had the opportunity to work with patients from all socioeconomic levels, many different parts of the country, and from many countries. When he is not working, Dr. Stankus enjoys weightlifting, playing golf, singing in the church choir, politics, world affairs, camping, and hiking.
