Differ ing from other scholarships, the INA awards applicants who have already proven to be exemplary healthcare students, demonstrated by their membership with the Association.  An INA scholarship is awarded under careful consideration of relevant criteria.  Criteria include the school the applicant is planning to attend, the degree in which they hope to attain, personal and professional background, current nursing certifications, and lastly, the reason for choosing their particular career path and trajectory.

The INA facilitates the need for aiding those pursuing education, and recognizes students for their efforts in this endeavor.  Higher education and career development are synonymous, and the scholarship program is designed to enable students to attain the highest form of success in their field.

The INA has been granting educational scholarships since 2012, five of which have been awarded a total of $4,000 in funding, with a minimum grant of $500 per award. Unlike other educational scholarships, the INA scholarship directly relates to experience and interests in the nursing field.
