Venerated Nurse Pamela Doll, BSN, RNC-MNN, will be Honorably Mentioned in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

Pamela is a registered nurse with 37 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially labor and delivery, maternal-newborn nursing, neonatal intensive care, postpartum care, and high risk pregnancies. Pamela is currently caring for patients at the Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, Pamela provides nursing care and education to mothers after the birth of their baby.

Pamela attended the Fletcher School of Nursing in North Carolina, where she received her diploma of nursing in 1979. In 2015, she went on and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois. Pamela keeps current in the nursing field by maintaining professional memberships with the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, and the Academy of Neonatal Nursing. Pamela is the recipient of a Daisy Award she received in 2010, and maintains her status as a registered nurse certified in Maternal-Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN).

An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Pamela tries to make a difference in the lives of her patients by helping them feel comfortable after delivery. Pamela chose a career in nursing, due to feeling inspired at an early age from reading nursing and medical books. Pamela is motivated at the start of each day knowing that she can make a difference in someone’s life by helping them to understand and care for their newborn baby. Earlier in her career, Pamela assisted in a research study on the different types of thermometers used on newborns. In addition, she has also volunteered at an elementary school. Pamela credits her success to good mentorship, and in her spare time enjoys camping, walking, and reading.
