Furthermore, Dr. Hearn has hospital privileges at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte, Bayfront Health Punta Gorda, and Fawcett Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Hearn graduated with his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1982. He completed his internal medicine residency and interventional cardiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine, and his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Hearn holds triple-board certifications by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. Dr. Hearn maintains professional memberships with the American Medical Association, the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce, the American Heart Association, and the Society of Vascular Medicine. In addition, Dr. Hearn is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Hearn credits his success to following in his father’s footsteps, being in the right place at the right time, and having the right skills. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, golfing, and boating.
