Dr. Chang currently serves patients within her private practice in New York and is also affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. With over 17 years of experience, she holds an extensive background in cardiology, basic electrophysiology and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Chang was educated at Shanxi Medical University, and received Ph.D degree in Department of Physiology and Biophysics, SUNY at Stony Brook. Then she completed an Internal Medicine Residency in Stony Brook University Hospital, and a Cardiology fellowship at NewYork -Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology. She remains a professional member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Chang attributes her success to her enjoyment of the field and the encouragement from her father, who was a leading professor at Tsinghua University and held a PhD from Harvard University in 1930’s. In addition to assisting patients in New York, Dr. Chang serves as a Medical Consultant at Tsinghua University Hospital in Beijing, and enjoys traveling in her free time.
