With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Peggy Ann Roberts, LVN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Licensed Vocational Nurse with 47 years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in many facets of nursing, especially hospice care. Peggy is currently serving patients at CHRISTUS Visiting Nurse Association in San Antonio, Texas. She makes home visits in order to perform patient assessments, give the patient and their family emotional and moral support, and guide them through the dying process.
Peggy graduated from the vocational nursing program at San Antonio Vocational & Technical School of Nursing in 1968. She credits her success to her supervisors. Without their support and confidence in her, she would not have gotten this far. Peggy is President of the Licensed Vocational Nurses Association of Texas, was named Nurse of the Year with the Methodist Hospital, Nurse of the Year of the Licensed Vocational Nurses Association in 2012, Employee of the Month at Four Seasons Nursing Home, and Angel in the Field Christus-VNA Hospice in 2004, and is the recipient of the Appreciation Award from St. Peters St. Josephs Home for a Benefit. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading and sewing.
