Marilyn was educated at University of Pangasinan, Philippines where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1978. She obtained her Master’s in Nursing at University of Phoenix in 2010. She was a recipient of Nurse of the Year in 2014. She is a professional member of the American Ambulatory Care Nursing, American Nurses Association, and the Society of Pediatric Nurses.
Marilyn attributes her success to being open to change, staying up to date, being adaptable, and treating her patients as she would want to be treated. When not assisting patients, she enjoys reading for pleasure and playing the guitar. She has passion for music.
