The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Catherine Maurice, MD, Neurologist, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Maurice currently serves patients at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Ontario and has over 13 years of experience with an extensive background in brain tumors, glioma, neuro-oncology, astrocytoma, epilepsy, and medulloblastoma. In addition, she teaches as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.
Dr, Maurice completed her medical training at the University of Montreal and received her medical license in 2008. Following that, she embarked on a residency in neurology at the same educational venue. After completing her residency in 2013, she joined the staff at The Pencer Centre to begin her fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Warren P. Mason. Now, in addition to teaching and assisting patients, she serves as a consultant for Doctors Without Borders.
Additionally, Dr. Maurice is starting a Neuro-Oncology Clinic at the Pencer Brain Tumor Centre of Princess Margaret Hospital to assess the neurological complications associated with various systemic cancers. She will have another clinic focused on the treatment of primary brain tumors.
