The ColorComm Network is a professional organization for women of color in communications including public relations, media relations, corporate communications, advertising, journalism, broadcast, education, consulting, and social media. The annual ColorComm Conference provides a unique opportunity to highlight and celebrate the achievements of the many talented and diverse women working in communications.

At this year’s conference, “C2: Leading the Way,” Maria G. Arias, Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion for Comcast Corporation, and Amber Payne, Managing Editor of NBCBLK, gave opening remarks at the NBC News, MSNBC and Comcast NBCUniversal sponsored Welcome Reception.

Romina Rosado, Senior Vice President & Editor in Chief of E! News & Online, was honored with the 2016 “Ground Breaker” Circle Award. Rosado also served as a panelist of the “Brands & Building Affinity w/ Diverse Audiences” event where she provided insight on the scope of her role at E!, how businesses are adapting to the ever-changing landscape of the media industry, and how brands and businesses plan to engage with diverse audiences.
