‘Outsider’ Ernie Rivera staffs up for Florida U.S. Senate run

With just about two months until the primaries, Ernie Rivera, a businessman and pastor challenging Marco Rubio in the Florida U.S. Senate campaign, has beefed up his staff to pull off a come from behind victory in August.

Already with campaign offices all over the state, Team Rivera has brought on several public relations firms and consultants to bolster its staffing.

“We are certainly the underdog in this race, but I am very confident we’re going to surprise a lot of people,” said Rivera. “There is no doubt that in the coming weeks and months our team will lead us to victory in the primary and general elections. We have the money, vision and infrastructure and with the support of voters we can pull this off!”

The Publicity Agency, a PR powerhouse based in Tampa, will work with print and online media outlets on Rivera’s behalf. Since its inception in 2007 this firm has handled countless big name clients from Florida as well as all over the country.

Last year he threw his hat into the race in the hopes that voters will reward a kind, outspoken outsider who has a record of business and charitable success.

Rivera is one of the original seven Republican candidates vying for their party’s nomination. Since Senator Marco Rubio changed his mind on his candidacy five have dropped out.
