The Public Relations Institute (PRI), a 501(c)(4) organization which focuses on nonpartisan education and advocacy on democracy initiatives in the United States or impact the U.S. around the world, officially announced its launch along with a new website www.theprinstitute.org.

Headquartered in Tampa, Fla., The PR Institute shines the proverbial spotlight, helps bring the cameras and train the microphones where they are needed most. PRI leverages the power of social media and the internet. And the organization helps shape policy through education and advocacy in Washington, D.C., state capitals and governments worldwide.

“This is a unique democracy initiative whose time has come,” says Glenn Selig, president of The PR Institute.

As for the website, Selig says: “From the messaging to the colors and the easy navigation, we are very proud. The website is also scalable and will be able to grow as The PR Institute grows.”

The PR Institute launches at a time when the world is facing unprecedented challenges to freedom and democracy because of ISIS and other terrorist groups.
