NBC Deportes presents Week 10 of the Liga MX Torneo Apertura 2015, Pachuca vs. Santos Laguna at 9PM/8C/6P on TELEMUNDO, airing simultaneously on NBC UNIVERSO. As usual on Saturdays, the stellar sportscasting trio of Andrés Cantor, veteran commentator Sammy Sadovnik, and three-time top Mexican scorer Carlos Hermosillo will narrate and analyze the action at Hidalgo Stadium, which will also be available on NBCDeportes.com digital platforms and the NBC Deportes EN VIVO EXTRA mobile app.

Pachuca returns to its home turf determined to stay on track and avoid another losing streak like the one it broke with its 2-1 victory over the Dorados last week – the Tuzos’ first win in eight games. Under Uruguayan coach Diego Alonso, the team hopes to continue its upward trend against Santos this weekend for a chance at one of the league’s eight playoff spots. With seven goals, top Pachuca scorer Ariel Nahuelpán has one of the tournament’s best records so far, just one goal behind Tijuana’s Dayro Moreno.

The outlook is less rosy for Santos, but thanks to the Liga MX ranking system they still have a chance to accumulate the points they need to break out of last place and make it to the postseason. The last victory for Spanish coach Pako Ayestarán’s men was an away game in Puebla, which they won by just one point; in fact, all of their points in this tournament were scored away from home. Santos has beaten Pachuca the last three times the teams have met, most recently in Week 16 of Clausura 2015, a game that ended with the scoreboard at 3-2 in Torreón’s favor.
