Monster CoolersWhen Monster Cooler co-creator, Tom Beggins, found himself with a 12-pack of cold beers and an unexpectedly broken refrigerator on a hot summer evening in Houston, Texas, innovation intervened.

“Uncle Tom needed to improvise and find a solution that would keep his beer cold while his fridge was out,” said Tom’s nephew Jeff Beggins, co-creator of the innovative can and bottle cooler. “Little did he know that he was about to invent something millions of people want.”

Beggins used what was a styrofoam crab trap buoy to create his own personal, custom beer cooler that encapsulated insulation. The next morning when he woke, he found that the beer inside of his creation was still as cold as it was the night before.

Those basic principles are what transformed the can and bottle cooler into a real business.

Nephew, Jeff Beggins, with an MBA graduate from the University of Florida, decided to join forces with his uncle to make the next evolution of the cooler into a reality and a worldwide success.

“After a few years of trial and error, we discovered the perfect closed-cell foam technology to keep beverages in cans and bottles cooler, for much longer,” said Beggins.

The Monster Cooler is the recipient of six patents including International protection, as well as six trademarks to preserve its integrity.

Today, The Monster Cooler is an innovative can and bottle cooler that features triple air locking vacuum seals designed to keep cans, bottles and cups ice cold. It also eliminates any condensation normally created by cold beverages, making it user friendly and easy to grip.

To date, funding for Monster Cooler’s Kickstarter campaign is up over $39,000. With less than two weeks remaining, Monster Cooler has seen international success with people pledging all throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
