Earth Angel Sustainable Production Services, the East Coast’s premiere sustainability consultants for the entertainment industry, are hosting the city’s first organized Earth Hour event. Earth Hour is the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) worldwide lights-off movement to unite people to protect the planet. Earth Angel’s NYC tribute is called EARTH angel HOUR and will take place on March 28, 2015 at the Centre for Social Innovation in Chelsea.

The spark for EARTH angel HOUR was ignited last year when Sony Pictures Entertainment partnered with Earth Hour to make Spider-Man the first superhero ambassador for Earth Hour. O’Brien, who served as the Eco Manager during the production of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, was disappointed in the lack of Earth Hour awareness in NYC in 2014 and decided to get her company and the film and television community behind a 2015 event. EARTH angel HOUR is casual cocktail attire and will offer drinks, hors d’oeuvres, live music, a photobooth and a whole lot of sustainable fun!

EARTH angel HOUR will be held at The Centre for Social Innovation in Chelsea, Manhattan. The address is 601 West 26th Street, #325, New York, NY 10001.
Doors open at 7pm, the lights-out ceremony begins at 8pm, and Earth Hour is officially 8:30-9:30pm.
