WHAT: Global Village Champions Foundation’s ‘Christmas in January’ event where 100,000 meals will be donated to the café for the homeless.

WHEN: Friday, January 23, 2015, 11am – 12:30pm

After Christmas is when supplies of food and resources are lowest at area shelters. ‘Christmas in January’ events will also take place in Ottawa, Ontario and Phoenix, Ariz. Global Village Champions will give away a total of 350,000 meals and $20,000 total in cash donations for perishable food items and spices. GVCF has fed nearly ONE BILLION meals to needy people around the world.
