On Monday, October 20, Ricky Martin exclusively premieres the music video for his hit single “Adiós” on Twitter®. Millions of music fans on Twitter® will be able to enjoy the premiere by watching the debut directly at www.twitter.com/ricky_martin at 7:30 p.m. ET. Immediately after the premiere, Ricky Martin will host a live Twitter® Q&A.

In 140 characters or less, Martin’s using Twitter® to build global buzz surrounding his highly anticipated video debut. In advance of Monday’s big premiere, Martin tweeted exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the making of his new video “Adiós.” Fans from around the world joined Martin’s global viewing party and followed #AdiosVideo to watch each sneak preview on Twitter®.
The video was directed by Ethan Ladder (B.o.B., Avicii) and filmed on location at the Long Beach, Calif., speakeasy Harvelle’s, which opened in 1931 during Prohibition. Ricky Martin plays five characters – a policeman, bartender, bouncer, mobster and singer.
“Adiós” features dancers from Harlow Gold, the cutting-edge L.A. burlesque troupe founded by the young, world-renowned choreographers Tracy Phillips and Dominic Carbone.
The video debuts on all major online outlets at 7:30 a.m. ET, October 21.
“Adiós” is the first single from Ricky Martin’s forthcoming album, which is scheduled for an early 2015 release. “Adiós” is produced by Jesse Shatkin, Yotuel Romero, Antonio Rayo and Martin himself.
