Telemundo News’ coverage of the election of Pope Francis won an Emmy® Award at the 35th annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards hosted by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) during a gala ceremony in New York, the first time specific categories for Spanish-language television were included.
