KCETLink, the national independent public transmedia organization, will premiere a new fall slate of global documentaries, exploring a wide range of topics, including: human rights, ecology, history and politics, health and more.
The lineup debuts with THE HUNGRY TIDE, an hour-long profile following NGO worker Maria Tiimon of the Kiribati Islands in the Pacific, who reveals the tragic impact climate change and global warming is having on the region. The film will air on Link TV (DirecTV 375 and DISH Network 9410) on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 8 p.m. and on KCET on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 9:30 p.m. Select films will be available online after their airdates at linktv.org or kcet.org/video.
