Telemundo’s ‘La Voz Kids’ hits season high with third episode averaging 2.2 million total viewers and 1.1 million adults 18-49

The Sunday night reality show grew 4% in total viewers and 15% among adults 18-49 versus premiere

Last Sunday’s episode of Telemundo’s “La Voz Kids” scored its best performance yet this season, delivering 2,233,000 total viewers and 1,128,000 adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. Produced for the first time out of Universal Studios Florida, Sunday’s episode of “La Voz Kids” is up 4% in total viewers and 15% in adults 18-49, respectively versus season two premiere. Compared to season one, the second season of the Sunday night reality show is up 16%, premiere to date, delivering in average over 1 million adults 18-49.

Hosted by Daisy Fuentes and Jorge Bernal with music star Coaches Prince Royce, Roberto Tapia and Natalia Jimenez, “La Voz Kids” features young vocalists between the ages of seven and 15 competing for a recording contract and a cash prize to support their education.

On Sunday’s third round of the “Blind Auditions,” nine additional voices were selected including kids from Texas, New York, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Nevada and Puerto Rico who showcased their talent and shared moving stories that brought them to the much-desired “La Voz Kids” stage. At the end of the “Blind Auditions”, each team will have 18 contestants who will participate in the “Battle Rounds,” leading to the ultimate selection of the second season winner.
