"Seeking a God to Glorify" by Leroy T. Howe

Leroy T. Howe has spent most of his life seeking and serving God. After receiving his doctorate from Yale, he completed post-doctoral training in pastoral counseling and marital and family therapy. Howe’s “Seeking a God to Glorify” (ISBN 1466293845) provides readers with the encouragement and guidance often needed to create a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God.

Although he hesitates to characterize “Seeking a God to Glorify” as a memoir, the book sums up a half century of his personal faith development and work as a theologian. Throughout his years in ministry, he has focused on helping people overcome the many obstacles that both believers and inquirers face as they seek God and God’s hopes for their lives. He has learned from personal experience that asking questions and acknowledging doubts are essential to achieving a transforming personal faith.

Knowing that following the path God has set out for his followers leads to a more fulfilling life, Howe wrote “Seeking a God to Glorify” to help faith-seekers on their journey by sharing his own story of searching for a God worthy of devotion and praise.

“This is a story of God’s coming to me in God’s own way, of His summoning me to find Him in the lives of many of my closest friends, and of His eventually leading me into the church myself,” says Howe.

The ordained minister hopes that “Seeking a God to Glorify” reminds believers why they are following a God truly worth their dedication, despite the obstacles, criticism and uncertainties they face along the way.

“Seeking A God to Glorify” is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
