Social Media Strategies Summit - Press Release Writing

Those who attended the Social Media Strategies Summit workshop got a hands on experience writing a social media press release

The first day of the social media conference for marketing and PR professionals featured a hands-on, interactive workshop developed to encourage attendees to reach their personal learning objectives.

The communications professionals who attended the Social Media and SEO Press Release seminar explored methods of press release writing and optimization, ROI and measurement, and audience reach, segmentation and targeting.

Enter Glenn Selig, founder of PRNewsChannel.com, the presenter of the hour and the man responsible for guiding a varied group of attendees through writing on the Internet. Nearly every industry was present: higher education, technology, banking, nonprofit organizations, and manufacturing; all with the goal of learning how to get noticed and use SEO to optimize their press releases and social media strategies.  This workshop took a unique spin on group learning.

“I really enjoy the hands-on approach it beats that classic lecture hall feel,” said Thomas Thomas, an expert in Information Technology.

Likewise, LuAnne Hinkle was enthusiastic about the industrial diversity.  She stated, “Today every marketing professional wears many hats and has to be well-versed in many things. Attending a workshop like this keeps me poised to get Meals-on-Wheels Greater San Diego the attention it deserves.”

The press release optimization workshop was not the only learning opportunity at the conference.  This three day summit focused on six tracks for a variety of needs; Marketing Strategies & Tactics, Case Studies, Measurements: analytics, ROI and Tools, Community Engagement and Customer Service, Sales Approach, and Legal Risks & Strategies.

Attendees from across the world, United States, Germany, and Panama to mention a few, were able to bounce between interests and topics seamlessly optimizing their own experience.  Jill Casey, from Vantage West Credit Union felt it was “just what I needed to kick start my Social Media Strategy, and a great conference.”  For more information, visit Social Media Strategies Summit Conferences.
